“I first studied the science of language and communication at the University of Franche Comté, then I had the opportunity to take part in several cultural projects in Mongolia and Senegal, as well as trips to Latin America, in Europe and Asia.

So it is naturally that I chose to prepare a Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language, which I did in Montpellier, a vibrant and beautiful place to live!

I take a lot of pleasure in teaching the French language and culture, and I especially appreciate to interact with students from around the world!

“I discovered FLE, which became my passion, through a Korean student, who has now been a true friend for 10 years. After being flatmates with her in the Savoie Region, I cymae down to the south of France to find sun and heat. I passed my Masters TEFL here at the Paul Valéry University of Montpellier.
In my class, cultures are shared and exchanged in a serious but yet enthusiastic atmosphere.”

“After studying English, obtaining my Master’s degree of FLE and spending several years of teaching French in Central Europe and the Baltics, I set my bags in France, in Burgundy, in 2001.I worked there for five years and then the Southern sun had me migrate down to Montpellier, where I have lived for 7 years now.

I have a complete CIEP training for creation and proofreading of DELF and DALF exams, and I will be your main contact for any questions relative to the exam preparation.

Originally from the West region of France, I inherited the typical characteristics of this part of our country, my kindness equals work rigor.
It is my daily pleasure to share the love I have for the beautiful language that French is.

“Native from Dijon, in Burgundy, I obtained my FFL masters before going to China to teach French to Chinese learners preparing TEF at the University of Shangqiu, in the Province of Henan. With this incredible experience, I decided I wanted to settle in a young and sunny place, and so chose Montpellier. I joined the ILA team in 2008.

I love teaching to all levels of the language, even though I have a preference for advanced levels that allow me to add much more cultural and civilizational aspects to my classes.

I then decided to return to my lovely region. And here I am at ILA, where you will come and enjoy my constant good mood! See you soon in class!

“Who am I?

Born during the harvest, in the land of great sailors, I have kept from this my great curiosity in tastes, colors, trips and people.

I obtained my Master’s degree in FLE at the Sorbonne in Paris, and then I worked in the Alliance Française of Bahia in Brasil, before moving to Montpellier.

My first is J for Jovial while my last is an O for Oser (To dare in French).
Altogether, I am a mix of energy, diversity and lightness!
