The planetarium Galilee in Montpellier, in the South of France, is has existed since 2002 in the commercial area of the Odysseum, a ten-minute tram ride from our EasyFrench language school. On site, your visit will be organized around the showing of a film that lasts about an hour, on a given theme, projected onto a 360° screen in the shape of a 15mt diameter dome. The 3D film is in very high definition. This is followed by an explanation on the space galaxies by a specialized facilitator to help you understand how our universe works. Of course, you will learn French at the same time!
Budding astronomers will be enchanted by the advanced technology offered at the planetarium. This excursion is ideal for learning French outside of class whilst also initiating yourself to the secrets of the constellations and the stars that make up the solar system.
