The next part of your excursion will take you to the ‘Maison Carré’, the best-preserved Roman temple in the world. The building work on this monument was finished in the first century of our era. Opposite you will also see the ‘Carré d’Art’, designed by the Architect Norman Foster. It is home to a contemporary art museum as well as a media library. Finally, you will be able to visit the ‘Jardins de la Fontaine’ a park with many monuments dating back before Roman times such as the ‘Temple of Diane’, near to a sacred spring.
